Spicy BBQ Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1# rotini pasta
  • 1lb smoked sausage
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli florettes
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 8oz cheddar cheese cubed
  • 1/2 cup Hot & Spicy Blue Plate Mayo
  • 1/2 cup Zesty Italian Dressing
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Directions

  1. Slice the smoked sausage into bite size pieces and place on a foil lined baking tray. Place on a smoker at 275 degrees for 30-35 minutes until brown on outside. Drain on paper towel to remove excess grease.
  2. Boil pasta according to package directions and strain.
  3. Combine the hot and spicy mayo with Italian dressing and season with cracked black pepper.  
  4. In a large bowl add pasta along with the smoked sausage, cheese, and vegetables.  Add the dressing and gently toss until everything is coated.  Place in the refrigerator covered for 1 hour before serving.

This spicy bbq pasta salad is out of this world! Definitely a 5 Star recipe! Its even better the next day after the flavors get to mingle all night!
