Molasses Baked Beans

Baked Beans with molasses, bbq sauce and bacon!

Ingredients

  • 4 cans Showboat Pork & Beans
  • 18oz BBQ Sauce (cheapest you can find)
  • 2 Tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Killer Hogs AP Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Molasses 
  • 5-6 strips Bacon
  • 1 Tablespoon The BBQ Rub (or your fave rub)

Directions

  1. Drain the cans of pork and beans and pour into a casserole dish.
  2. Add the whole bottle of BBQ Sauce along with the onion powder, AP Seasoning, and molasses. Stir to combine.
  3. Arrange the strips of bacon on top of the beans and season with BBQ Rub.
  4. Place the dish on the smoker at 250-275 degrees for about 2.5-3.5 hours then serve.
