I'm taking the rich, savory flavors of a steakhouse meal and making it a family-style dinner of Fried Rice. Using tender, marinated steak with sautéed mushrooms, onions, and garlic this is a restaurant-worthy steakhouse dinner.
Steakhouse Fried Rice
Juicy cubes of steak are paired with caramelized onions and mushrooms along with rice fried with a generous helping of steak seasoning and homemade steakhouse butter. Rich and delicious... It's steakhouse dining meets ultimate comfort food, all served on one big platter!

Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (any kind, cubed)
- 4 cups cooked rice (preferably cold)
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion, diced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup steakhouse butter (recipe below)
- 1/4 cup W sauce (or Worcestershire sauce)
-
Killer Hogs Steak Rub (or your favorite steak seasoning)
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) softened butter
- 1/2 shallot, finely chopped
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp W sauce (or Worcestershire sauce)
Steakhouse Butter
Directions
Cube and Marinate the Steak
Cube your steak (about 1 lb) and marinate it in 1/4 cup of W sauce for about 30 minutes.
Cook the Steak
Preheat your griddle for medium-high heat. Spread the marinated steak cubes evenly on the hot surface to ensure even cooking. Sear the steak on all sides until a crust forms.
Once the steak has developed a good crust, remove it from the heat and set it aside to avoid overcooking.
Cook the Vegetables
On the same griddle, add the diced onions and sliced mushrooms. Cook them until softened.
Season the vegetables with some Killer Hogs Steak Rub and a splash of W sauce for added flavor.
Fry the Rice
Use cold, cooked rice for the best fried rice texture. Add the rice to the griddle or skillet and start to fry it, spreading it out evenly.
Season the rice with more Killer Hogs Steak Rub and a dash of W sauce.
Place spoonfuls of the steakhouse butter over the rice and mix it in, letting the flavors coat the rice.
Scramble the Eggs
In a separate area on the griddle, scramble the eggs. Once cooked, mix them into the rice.
Combine and Serve
Add the cooked vegetables back into the rice and mix well. Finally, return the steak cubes to the griddle and fold them into the fried rice.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or more Steak Rub or W sauce if desired.
Serve family-style on a large platter, and enjoy!
