Who knew Bacon could get even better??? Let's make some Millionaire Bacon – where smoky bacon perfection meets sweet and a little spicy! It's like a flavor explosion in your mouth!
Millionaire Bacon
We're taking a whole SLAB OF BACON and slicing it ourselves so we have the biggest, thickets slices of bacon to start. Then we coat it with sugar and spice and let it smoke... It takes bacon to a whole 'nother stratosphere. It's a smoky, sweet, savory goodness!

Ingredients

1lb Apple Wood Smoked Slab Bacon

3/4 cup maple syrup

1 cup light brown sugar - divided

1 Tablespoon fresh cracked black pepper

2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper - divided
Directions
Prepare pellet smoker for indirect smoking at 350° F using hickory pellets.
Slice bacon into 1/4' thick slices or substitute extra thick cut bacon.
Place bacon slices on a greased wire rack and smoke for 10 minutes on the pellet grill.
Combine the maple syrup, 1/2 the brown sugar, cracked pepper, and ground cayenne in a small bowl.
Remove the bacon from the grill and place on a foil lined baking sheet.
Brush each slice of bacon with the maple syrup mixture.
Place the sheet pan on the smoker and cook for 45 minutes or until the bacon starts to turn brown.
Combine the remaining brown sugar, cracked pepper, and cayenne in a small bowl. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over each slice of bacon and return to the smoker for 5-10 minutes.
Remove from the smoker and transfer to a wire rack or platter to cool.
