BBQ Spaghetti

BBQ Spaghetti is a Memphis tradition! All the best Memphis Barbecue spots have it on the menu... and it is delicious!

The flavors of BBQ Spaghetti meld together to form a unique taste that’s both rich and tangy with just the right amount of sweetness and spice you’d expect in Memphis BBQ. PLUS - the whole dish is topped off with even more smoky pulled pork to truly make an epic meal.

Ingredients

  • 2lbs Pulled Pork
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Small Red Bell Pepper - diced
  • 1 Small Onion - diced
  • 4-5 Cloves Garlic - minced
  • 1 packet of Spaghetti Seasoning
  • 1-14oz can of Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 1-14oz can of Tomato Sauce
  • 8oz Killer Hogs The BBQ Sauce
  • 12oz Spaghetti Pasta - cooked according to package directions

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a deep saute pan over medium heat.  Add red bell pepper and onion and cook until softened about 4-5 minutes.  Add garlic and saute another 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add spaghetti seasoning packet, petite diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and The BBQ Sauce. Bring mixture to a slight boil and reduce heat to simmer.  
  3. Chop half of the pulled pork into smaller pieces and add to the sauce, continue to simmer for 10-15 minutes while you prepare the pasta noodles.
  4. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce and cook for 4-5 minutes just to incorporate the flavors.  
  5. Top the BBQ Spaghetti with remaining pulled pork, drizzle with a little extra The BBQ Sauce and serve.
