Ingredients
-
2lbs 80/20 Ground Chuck
-
1lb Bacon (cut into bite size pieces)
-
2 Tablespoons Killer Hogs AP Seasoning
-
1 cup Blue Plate Mayo
-
4oz Crumbled Blue Cheese
-
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
-
1 Teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper
-
1 Package of Hamburger Buns
-
1/4 Cup Dill Pickle Chips
Directions
Separate the ground chuck into 5oz portions and form into a ball.
Combine half the mayo (reserve the rest for the bottom bun), blue cheese, Worcestershire, 1 tsp Killer Hogs AP Seasoning, and cracked black pepper in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Prepare flat top grill for cooking at medium high heat.
Cook the bacon until browned but not crispy. Move to cool side of flat top.
Place each portion of ground chuck on the flat top, season with AP Seasoning, and cook for 30 seconds.
Separate the bacon into small piles about the size of a burger patty.
Flip the ground chuck “balls” over onto each pile of bacon and smash into a burger patty.
Season with additional AP Seasoning and continue to cook for 4-5 minutes and flip each burger over and cook an additional 4-5 minutes.
Top with Blue Cheese mixture, cook for 1-2 minutes to allow the cheese spread to heat throughly, and serve with toasted hamburger buns garnished with remaining mayo and dill pickle chips.
